This cute little ‘Hey Boo Hey’ banner is super simple and easy. Adding a banner to a fall wreath would be a quick way to update the decor for halloween. The Halloween Ghost Banner Free SVG cutting file is below and is all ready to upload to your preferred cutting machine software (for example, Design Space).
For the black pieces and words, I used black matte vinyl instead of cardstock. TIP: When applying vinyl to cardstock or any paper, use press’n seal as the transfer tape. The press’n seal is gentle enough not to damage the paper.
I love working with this double sided glitter paper for the Halloween ghost banner. It is very sturdy and works well for the base of cardstock projects. The cutting settings I used on the Cricut Maker are: Glitter Cardstock, more pressure with the fine point blade.
Optional, but fun, I added fancy floral ghost to the back because – why not? To create the ghost pieces, I used the contour feature in design space to contour out the words. Not sure about contouring in design space? Check out this very quick video tutorial.
