When I got married several years ago, I didn’t have a Cricut to help with DIY projects yet. I had no choice but to pay high prices for all the personalized gifts and wedding decorations. Cricut makes DIY wedding crafts easy by providing a way to personalize all aspects of your wedding. One special area to not overlook are gifts for your closest friends and family. Bridesmaids have the task of supporting the bride and helping to bring the whole wedding to life. A thoughtful handmade craft is the perfect bridesmaid gift.

Using faux leather, I created these beautiful bow earrings that are lightweight and easy to wear. All Cricut machines from the Joy to the Maker will cut through faux leather for DIY wedding crafts. Choose from a wide variety of faux leather colors and patterns to match the wedding colors or the favorite color of the bridesmaid. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore Air 2 or Cricut Joy
- Cricut StrongGrip mat or a very sticky green mat
- Transfer tape
- Faux Leather
- Earring hooks
- Jewelry tools or small needle nose pliers
- Free Bow Earring Cut file
- Painter’s tape
- Scissors or a rotary cutter to trim materials
- Glue: Hot glue, super glue or glitter glue.
