Time for a quick win, beginner Cricut project. Learn how to make an easy yarn pom pom template with a little help from Cricut and left over cardboard. I created a free template in PDF and SVG formats. The template comes in three different sizes: small, medium and large.
Pom Pom template Size Guide
- Small = 1.5 – 2 inch pom pom
- Medium = 2.5 – 3 inch pom pom
- Large = 3.5 – 4.5 inch pom pom
The SVG means you can have your Cricut cut or draw the yarn pom pom template for you. How awesome is that!

Thank you So much for the Template! I love making my own Pom Poms, I just didn’t know about making the Template with a Cricut before! Now that I have an Explore 3, I can make as many as I want.
Thats great Tina!
I absolutely loved making this! It was such a joy. I tried to get mine to be as perfect as yours, but I am not that good at it lol. I will be definitely making more for my shelves. Love these!
