Whether it is back to school season or you wear a lanyard in the office, a custom lanyard can brighten your outfit (and mood).

I’ve seen these popular lanyards medallions all over the crafting/Etsy community. However, usually they are made from sublimation or from a laser cutter.
CAN A CRICUT MAKE THAT?
I found a way to create these lanyards without fancy tools and using a simple product called Printable Shrink Plastic.
Up until recently, I did not know printable shrink plastic was a thing. Well, I’m here to tell you it is a thing and you can do a lot with it from pins, magnets, keychains to lanyard medallions.
Time to make: 30 mins or less (includes easy design creation in Design Space)
Supplies:
- Printable Shrink Film
- Deluxe DIY silicone and wood necklace kit
- Cricut machine (I used the maker)
- Cricut mat
- Cricut deep point blade
